This bed is constructed very well. The wood is beautiful and the multiple slats on the foundation of the bed was well thought out. Once I added the mattress it made the bed so comfortable to lie on without a low profile box spring, it was extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this bed.The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It took about an hour and half to assemble.
